Releasing a new version of QGIS - QGIS 3.22 BIałowieża, a free geographic information system for the celebration of the centenary of the Białowieża National Park

QGIS is a user-friendly, open source and free Geographic Information System (GIS). The software serves for viewing, editing and analyzing spatial data and creating maps.

The release of the new version of QGIS - QGIS 3.22 BIałowieża will emphasize the celebration of the centenary of the Białowieża National Park, the origins of which date back to 1921. Since 1979, the Park has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Basic applications of QGIS 3.22 Białowieża, will enable the collection of data from many sources: data from GPS measurements, map scans, data from geoportal.gov.pl, Google Street View in "one place" for quick viewing. As part of the development of this project, their data will also be provided by the LIFE + ForBioSensing project.
