We invite you to read the latest article in the project entitled "Mapping individual trees with airborne laser scanning data in an European lowland forest using a self-calibration algorithm" (K. Stereńczak, B. Krraszewski, M. Mielcarek, Ż.Piasecka, M. Lisiewicz, M.Heurich), published in the journal International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation.

The article discusses the opening of new possibilities for the inventory of forest stands using Remote Sensing (especially airborne laser scanning (ALS)). Thanks to the use of the latest technologies, it is possible to count trees in the forest and to determine their characteristics.
