ForBioSensing at the conference "Man. Earth Space Why do we want to go back to the moon? ", Organized on the occasion of Remote Sensing Day 2019

The ForBioSensing team took part in the 17th edition of the scientific conference organized on the occasion of Remote Sensing Day. This event was held on behalf of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer Management at the Warsaw University of Technology with the support of the Student Association "GEOIDA". It gathered a number of auditoriums, including students, professors, scientists and naturalists.

This year the conference was held under the slogan: "Man. Earth. Cosmos. Why do we want to go back to the moon? ”During the conference, a number of lectures were given regarding, inter alia, Poland's participation in planned space exploration, the history of the first step on the moon, as well as planned space missions. In addition, participants could take part in the open discussion panel "Conquest of space - and what next?", To which representatives of the scientific and professional community were invited. The panel was attended by, among others: prof. dr hab. Eng. Piotr Wolański, dr hab. Eng. Mirosław Rataj, as well as dr Tomasz Rożek, a representative of the Student Space Association.

At the invitation of the organizers, we issued a promotional stand of the LIFE + ForBioSensing Project. At it, we informed about the current tasks performed by our team, we presented one of the measuring equipment - a dendrometer and we distributed promotional gadgets. Our design shirts were very popular with guests.

We thank the organizers for the invitation and successful meeting.
