The middle of August is behind us, and intensive field work is underway in the Białowieska Forest as part of the ForBioSensing Project.

The best weather conditions are currently being used to carry out field work as scheduled. The team works hard and effectively. Intensive taxation work is underway, which is carried out in our project using an IT system developed by our employees.

The system consists of several components (Fig. 1):

• application that enables entering measurement data on mobile devices,
• application responsible for integrating measurements from many mobile devices,
• local database, installed on mobile devices, in which measurement data is saved,
• central database, installed on a stationary device, in which measurements from many mobile devices are integrated.

Applications developed as part of the ForBioSensing project (proprietary taxation system in the project was described in detail by its creators: http://www.forbiosensing.pl/wyszuki/-/journal_content/56/20182/46104) significantly accelerated the taxation work.
