Although this event will take place only in October (22-23.10.2019), today we would like to invite you warmly to the Forum devoted to the latest LIDAR technology. The purpose of the meeting is to create a field for the exchange of information, experiences and the presentation of practical implementations using laser scanning.

The ForBioSensing team will also have the opportunity to actively participate in the Forum, because from the very beginning of the project it is thanks to the use of both: terrestrial and air laser scanning, it is possible to make measurements and determine many features of trees and stands in the Polish area of ​​the Białowieża Forest. Taking part in the 1st National LIDAR Users Forum will enable us to get acquainted with the possibilities of using this technology in forestry and will allow for the exchange of experience gained.

The organizers of the project are: Department of Geomatics of the Forest Research Institute and Faculty of Forestry of the University of Agriculture Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow. The program included a number of sessions: plenary, poster and sponsorship. We invite everyone interested in the POLSCAN Forum, registration takes place until September 30!
