Bialowieza Forest, admiring biodiversity: Flowering in the Forest

It is impossible to take your eyes off the colorfulness and diversity of existing plants in the Bialowieza Forest. The abundance of flora in the Forest is enormous. Our employees admire the beauty and the extraordinary natural seasons.

We will present you today a few plants found in the Forest at the turn of spring and summer:

Pink husk (Lathraea squamaria L.) - occurs in fresh and damp deciduous forests and thickets. It is grown due to its original shape during flowering in naturalist gardens. A tree parasite, wraps roots and sucks juices out of them.

Solid corydalis (Corydalis solida) - has double protection against self-pollination; the flowers are preposterous, and in addition is extremely self-consuming - your own pollen can not germinate on the same plant.

Bear garlic (Allium ursinum L.) - has all the properties of garlic. However, it exceeds it in terms of the content of certain substances, especially sulfur compounds, which have a positive effect on the cardiovascular and digestive systems, as well as help to fight viruses and bacteria.

Spring and summer months are a great time for forest wandering and admiring nature in bloom.
