On 14-15 June 2018 in Białowieża, was held the 15th Podlaskie GIS Forum.

 This year's forum was marked with the slogan: "Spatial Information Systems - directions of development". Thus, the main goal of the meeting was to familiarize participants with technological possibilities in nature management and presentation of practical GIS tools.

 The head of our project, dr hab. Krzysztof Stereńczak, during this event, gave a lecture entitled: "Aerial laser scanning of the Bialowieza Forest - potential in the analysis of natural and cultural resources", promoting the results of the project During his speech, he stressed the importance of monitoring the health condition of forests and the great importance of spatial information systems during the tests.

„Podlaskie GIS Forum” is organized for the fifteenth year in a row. The year is very popular. Also this year the attendance did not fail, the results of the Life + forbiosensing team were presented to over 80 people.
