All the visitors had a chance to see cross-sections from stumps and increment cores straight from Białowieża Forest and be familiarized with equipment we use for data collecting in the Project. The participants could also see Białowieża Forest on aerial imagery in 3D and have a talk with our specialists about current tasks in the Project.
On the occasion of the 25. Anniversary of the LIFE+ programme we prepared some surprises for all Earth Day visitors: just like on LIFE Information Day 2017 held by NFEP&WM, we told about the LIFE programme offering a sweet brioche called „cynamonka” baked in Białowieża. We also asked all the participants for writing best wishes on a birthday card for LIFE+ programme we prepared specially for this occasion.
